Sheila'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 3/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas (equals 2 to 3 bananas)
1 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream together sugar and shortening in mixing bowl.
Add eggs and mix until smooth.
Combine dry ingredients.
Alternate dry ingredient mixture with bananas into sugar-shortening-egg mix.
Stir this mixture only enough to make finished batter moist.
Add nuts.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
