Barbecued Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. finely diced Spanish onion
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 lb. cooked navy or pea beans, or 1 (16 oz.) can brick oven beans
3/4 c. ketchup
1 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. mustard powder
1 Tbsp. pure ground mild red chile powder
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
In a heavy skillet, saute the onion and garlic in small amount of water or Pam, cooking until the onion is transparent, but not browned.
Transfer the onion and garlic into a mixing bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and combine well. Pour the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish and bake, uncovered, for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Serves 4.
