Grilled Brats In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 bratwurst
    1 1/2 c. onion, coarsely chopped
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    2 Tbsp. butter, softened
    1/2 tsp. onion salt
    1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    4 to 6 buns
Preparation
    In skillet, put brats, onion and beer; simmer, uncovered, for about 30 minutes.
    Mix butter and onion salt together; spread on buns.
    Remove brats from beer; fill slit with cheese and place in buns.
    Broil 4 inches from heat, until cheese melts.
    Watch closely.
