Bob'S Baked Alaska - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 oz. brandy or rum
    4 egg whites
    fresh or canned fruits
    1 pound cake, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    ice cream (any flavor)
Preparation
    Cut pound cake into 4 rounds, using 3-inch diameter cookie cutter or a glass.
