Cookies While You Sleep - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (1/4 c.)
    2/3 c. sugar
    6 oz. chocolate morsels
    1 c. chopped pecans
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites and salt until they hold peaks.
    Add sugar and beat until very stiff.
    Fold in chocolate and pecans.
    Cover large cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray foil with an aerosol cooking spray.
    Drop 1 teaspoon of mixture per cookie onto the foil approximately 1/2-inch apart.
    Turn oven off and put cookies into the oven on a middle spaced rack.
    Do not open oven for 6 hours.
    After 6 hours or overnight, cookies will be done and can be stacked into cookie tins.
    Yields approximately 2 1/2 dozen.
