Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream
sugar
and shortening together.\tAdd applesauce, flour, spices and soda.
Add raisins and vanilla.
Grease and flour an 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
