Ingredients

1 qt. blackberries or raspberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. water
1/2 to 3/4 c. juice (from the berries)
Preparation

Place the berries, sugar and water in a 4-quart saucepan; bring to a boil. Dip off 1/2 cup juice. Add enough water to make 3/4 cup.
Mix flour and juice to make a soft dough.
Drop by teaspoon into boiling berries.
Cook until dough is done in the center. Serve with cream or Cool Whip.
