Peach Cobbler Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. milk
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. lemon peel (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9 x 9-inch shallow baking dish.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add milk and stir well.
    Pour this mixture into baking dish; do not stir.
    Top with peaches that have been drained a little.
    Sprinkle nutmeg, cinnamon and lemon peel over top; do not stir.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve warm with Cool Whip or ice cream. Cobbler will form crust while cooking.
