Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter flavored Crisco and sugar in a large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine flour with baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Blend into creamed mixture.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
