Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Blend in egg and vanilla.
    Add flour and salt; mix well.
    Spread over bottom of 10 x 15-inch ungreased pan.
    Bake 25 minutes (350\u00b0) in oven.
    Sprinkle top immediately with chocolate chips.
    Spread melted chips around to cover evenly.
    Sprinkle fine nut meats over top.
