Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooking oil (just barely over 1 c.)
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    3 large or 4 small apples, peeled and diced
Preparation
    Mix with spoon (do not use mixer).
    Pour into 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cool cake completely before taking out of pans.
