Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. favorite steak, cut into strips
    2 large onions, cut into rings
    2 large bell peppers, cut into strips
    1 large can tomato juice or 1 can stewed tomatoes (if desired)
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    4 c. cooked rice and season to taste
    4 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut and season steak.
    Roll in flour.
    Heat oil in large skillet and brown steak strips on all sides.
    Add onions, peppers and 1 cup water.
    Simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
    Add tomato juice, tomatoes and sugar.
    Simmer 30 minutes, covered. Serve over bed of rice.
