Great-Grandma Ridley'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. chopped pecans
3/4 lb. glazed cherries
1 lb. glazed pineapple
1/2 oz. vanilla extract
1/2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add well beaten eggs and blend well.
Chop nuts and fruit and mix with part of the flour. Sift remaining flour and baking powder.
Fold into egg mixture. Add flavorings and mix well, then add fruit and nut mixture by hand.
Put mixture in a greased tube pan and place in a cold oven. Bake at 275\u00b0 for 3 hours.
Let cool in pan completely.
