Tamale Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. chili powder
oil for browning
2 (12 oz.) cans V-8 cocktail juice
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic
Preparation

Mix beef, corn meal and chili powder together.
Shape into cocktail size meat balls.
Brown slowly in oil. Drain and add V-8 juice and other ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered, until sauce cooks down and is thick.
Serve hot with toothpicks.
