Pecan Delight Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    2/3 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. pecans
    16 soda crackers
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy; add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
    Slowly add sugar; beat very stiff.
    Stir in pecans and broken soda crackers.
    Pour in buttered glass pie plate and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Don't overbake.
    Cool and top with Cool Whip.
    Can add nuts on top also.
