Five Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef stew meat
    6 medium potatoes, diced into large pieces
    6 carrots, diced into large pieces
    6 stalks celery, diced into large pieces
    1 green pepper, diced into large pieces
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    3 tsp. sugar
    3 tsp. tapioca
    1 large can V-8 juice
Preparation
    Put first five ingredients into a large roasting pan.
    Mix next four ingredients, sprinkle on top of the meat and vegetables. Do not mix.
    Pour V-8 juice over the stew.
    Bake 5 hours at 250\u00b0.
