Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter/margarine
    6 c. water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    8 oz. very thin noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli or 1 medium size head (fresh) *
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation
    *Boil fresh broccoli; defrost frozen.
