Easy To Eat Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 heaping c. raw peanuts (or pecans for pecan brittle)
    1/2 x 1/2-inch paraffin, shredded
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, Karo and water
    until
    it
    threads and then add peanuts.
    Cook until tan in color; add paraffin and baking soda. Mix and pour quickly on
    a buttered cookie sheet.
    When cool, break in small pieces.
