Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. strawberry gelatin
4 c. fresh strawberries, halved
1 baked (9-inch) pie shell
whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation

Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat and cook constantly 1 minute or until thickened. Stir in strawberry gelatin until dissolved. Remove from heat; chill 2 hours. Arrange strawberries in pie shell and pour gelatin mixture over strawberries. Chill until set. May take about 4 hours. Serve pie with whipped cream.
