Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raw, peeled shrimp
    1/3 c. butter
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1 to 2 green onions, sliced thinly
    salt and pepper
    1 lemon
Preparation
    Melt butter in bottom of broiler pan.
    Add shrimp, garlic and green onion.
    Broil 5 to 10 minutes, turning shrimp often until they are pink and curled.
    Remove from broiler.
    Mix in parsley and squeeze fresh lemon over all.
    Serve with rice.
    (If you use one of the boxed rice mixes, the whole shebang only takes about 20 minutes.)
    Scallops can also be used instead of, or in addition to, the shrimp.
