Ingredients

1 c. oleo
1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. corn flakes
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream the first 4 ingredients.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in oatmeal, corn flakes, chips, coconut and nuts.
Drop batter 3 inches apart on ungreased sheet; flatten slightly.
Bake 15 minutes.
Makes thirty 5-inch cookies or 7 dozen smaller ones.
I make half of the recipe which yields 6 dozen 3-inch cookies.
