Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Mix together
    until
    creamy Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a\ttime
    beating after each addition.
    Add alternately flour and mixture of water, buttermilk and salt.
    Blend well. Add lemon flavoring.\tBake
    at
    325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes in greased and
    floured 10-inch tube pan.
    After 1 hour, keep checking every 5 minutes.
