Pepper Kokar(Swedish Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. syrup
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour

Preparation

Heat sugar, syrup, shortening and spices to almost boil.
Add soda and cool.
Add eggs, baking powder and flour.
Mix and roll thin.
Sprinkle sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly brown.
