Easter Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 extra large eggs
3 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm milk
1 lb. margarine or 1/2 lb. butter
3 Tbsp. anise seed
1 Tbsp. lemon or orange rind
2 c. sugar
about 4 lb. flour
Preparation

Melt margarine or butter in milk.
Add sugar, just until warm. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Beat eggs until light in color, about 10 minutes.
Add other ingredients, then add enough flour to handle dough.
Put on bread board and knead the dough.
Dough will be sticky.
Oil big pot and top of dough.
Cover with Saran Wrap, towel and blanket.
Let rise double the size.
Punch down and knead about 5 minutes.
Then put into pans.
Let rise 1 hour.
Beat egg and brush on top of bread.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
