Green Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (No. 1) cans green beans
    5 carrots, thinly sliced
    3 small potatoes, diced small
    6 slices bacon
    flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    paprika
Preparation
    Cut carrots in thin slices.
    Put in 4-quart pot 3/4 full of water.
    Add salt and cook 10 minutes.
    Cut bacon in small pieces and brown.
    Add enough flour to make a paste and brown well.
    Add paprika.
    Add the beans, juice and all, potatoes and bacon thickening to carrots.
    Cook about 15 minutes until carrots and potatoes are done and soup is thickened.
