Dark Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. cold coffee
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together all dry ingredients (except cocoa).
Mix cocoa with water and cook on low heat until thick.
Add shortening; mix well.
Cook until shortening melts and then cool for 5 minutes. Add dry ingredients, a little at a time; mix well after each addition.
Add coffee, eggs and vanilla.
Mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
