Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/4 c. oleo
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 apples, peeled and sliced
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Boil, until sugar dissolves, first four ingredients.
Make dough of remaining ingredients.
Roll out in six portions.
Put apples on and sprinkle with a little additional sugar and cinnamon.
Pour cinnamon syrup over all.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
