Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. buttermilk
    6 eggs
    1 box raisins
    1 c. English walnuts
    2 c. jam (1 c. strawberry and 1 c. blackberry)
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter well; add jam and beat well.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour, soda, salt and spices; sift together alternately with milk.
    Put a little flour on nuts and raisins; fold in cake batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 in 3 or 4 pans.
