Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs, beaten
5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
-
Mix yeast, sugar, and water together until yeast is dissolved. Add rest of ingredients.
Let rise until double, punch down, make into loaves and let rise until above pans.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes or until done.
