Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar (white)
    1 egg
    3/4 c. mashed bananas (about 2)
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. broken nut meats
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. sour milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; beat in the egg.
    Stir in sour milk and bananas.
    Then stir in dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
    Add the nuts.
    Turn into well-greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cool and eat or it freezes nicely.
