Cherry Banana Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 firm bananas
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling (2 c.)
    3 soft macaroon cookies, broken into coarse crumbs
    1/2 c. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Peel bananas and cut into thirds.
    Place into a 10 x 6 x 2-inch glass baking dish.
    Stir lemon juice into pie filling. Spoon over bananas.
    Cook, uncovered, in countertop microwave for 2 minutes.
    Stir to coat bananas.
    Sprinkle crumbs atop. Microcook, uncovered, about 2 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with ice cream.
    Serves 6.
