Chicken Livers And Bacon(Rumakis) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 chicken livers
    12 slices of bacon
    soy sauce
    24 water chestnuts, sliced
    brown sugar
Preparation
    Cut livers and bacon in half.
    Soak 4 hours in enough soy sauce to cover; drain.
    Slit sides of liver pieces, insert water chestnut, dip in brown sugar and wrap in bacon.
    Fasten with toothpick and dip again in brown sugar.
    Arrange on a wire rack over a shallow roasting pan.
    Bake about 1/2 hour, turning a few times, in hot oven at 400\u00b0.
    Can be served with dip of 1/2 part mayonnaise and 1/2 part mustard.
