Strawberry Jubilee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    12 crumbled saltine crackers
    1 c. or more sliced strawberries
    9 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
    Add sugar; beat until very stiff.
    Fold in pecans and crackers.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes in a 9-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Fold strawberries into Cool Whip.
    Spread over crust.
    Chill.
    Freezes well.
