French Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 small red potatoes
    1 red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Chopped parsley
    French dressing (bottled or fresh)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in their skins until tender.
    Without peeling, slice potatoes thinly.
    Peel and slice 1 red onion very thinly and separate into rings.
    In a shallow dish place alternate layers of sliced potatoes and onion rings.
    Salt and pepper each layer and sprinkle chopped parsley over each layer.
