Inexpensive Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. flavoring
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs until very light.
    Beat in salt, sugar and flavoring.
    In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter to boiling point.
    Add to the egg mixture.
    Sift together the flour and baking powder.
    Add this to the mixture.
    Pour very quickly into a greased and floured 8 x 8-inch cake pan.
    Bake immediately at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
