Ingredients

large onions
1 beaten egg
flour
undiluted canned milk
1/2 c. milk
bread crumbs
Preparation

Slice large, peeled onions about 1/4 inch thick.
Separate into rings.
Soak rings about 15 minutes in milk and drain slightly.
Beat egg and add fresh milk.
Roll rings in flour, then egg mixture and then in bread crumbs.
Fry until golden brown. Drain on absorbent towels.
Fry at 365\u00b0.
