Pumpkin Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. pumpkin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/4 c. softened butter
1 c. pecans (any nuts)
Preparation

Sift together the first 5 ingredients.
Combine pumpkin, sugar, milk and eggs in mixing bowl.
Add dry ingredients and butter; mix until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Spread in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Makes 1 loaf.
