Maple Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. maple syrup
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. thin cream
    3/4 c. chopped nut meats
Preparation
    Put syrup and cream in heavy saucepan and bring to a boil on high heat.
    Continue cooking on medium heat to soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
    Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm; beat until thick and gloss has disappeared. Add nuts and pour into greased pan.
    Cut in squares.
