Ingredients

3 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. peanut butter (regular or crunchy)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 block margarine
1/2 c. milk
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk and salt; bring to a rapid boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add oats, peanut butter and vanilla.
Mix well.
Drop by spoonful on wax paper (work quickly).
Makes 40 to 45 cookies.
