Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bushel tomatoes
    14 stalks celery
    8 medium onions
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 each: red and green peppers (optional)
    15 bay leaves
    22 cloves (optional)
    8 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. flour
    8 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Boil together first 7 ingredients for 1 hour.
    Work through sieve.
    Cream together and add butter and flour.
    Add salt and sugar.
    Boil together 10 minutes.
    When thickened, put in cans and hot water bath 5 or 10 minutes rolling boil.
