Carrot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    2 c. ground or grated carrots
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Prepare gelatin and set aside to cool.
    Mix grated carrots, sugar and pineapple together.
    When gelatin is cool, add carrot-pineapple mixture.
    Pour into a 9 x 9-inch square dish and refrigerate until set.
    Cut into squares and serve on lettuce, if desired.
