Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium size squash
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. cheese
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Slice squash and cook in a small amount of water until tender. Drain and mash.
    Add other ingredients, except half of cheese and bread crumbs.
    Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs on top of casserole and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
