Glazed Or Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 to 25 lb. sweet potatoes
    1 lb. 12 oz. brown sugar
    1 pt. water
    8 oz. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Steam or boil potatoes in skins until tender; peel. Cut into halves lengthwise. Arrange in shallow pan. Mix sugar, water, butter or margarine and salt. Heat to boiling point. Pour over potatoes. Bake 20 to 30 minutes.
