Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

1 stick margarine
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can Angel Flake coconut (small can)
5 egg whites, beaten

Cream margarine and shortening together. Add sugar and beat until mixture is smooth.
