Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the Crisco, white and brown sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Fold in well beaten egg and beat entire mixture.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
Bake about 10 minutes in preheated oven at 375\u00b0.
