Franks 'N Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. catsup
    1/3 c. chili sauce
    3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 lb. frankfurters, thinly sliced
    4 c. (5 oz.) noodles
    1 1/2 c. cottage cheese at room temperature
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter; saute vegetables.
    Add catsup, chili sauce, lemon juice and soy sauce, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add frankfurters and simmer 5 additional minutes. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Return noodles to saucepan; stir in cottage cheese.
    Alternate 2 layers each of noodles and sauce in a buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
