Sauerkraut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. water
    2/3 c. sauerkraut, drained, rinsed and chopped
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar.
    Add the eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture.
    Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa; stir into creamed mixture alternately with water.
    Stir in the sauerkraut.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Use chocolate frosting.
