Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. (1 Tbsp.) dry yeast
4 Tbsp. warm water
2 c. fresh buttermilk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening with pastry blender. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to dry ingredients with buttermilk; mix well.
Roll out 1/4-inch thick; cut with round biscuit cutter.
Dip in melted butter; fold in half.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Use what you need, put the rest in refrigerator.
These will keep in fridge or may be frozen.
No need to thaw out, just place from freezer to oven.
Place 3 to 4 tablespoons butter in pan for biscuits.
