Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
3 c. water
4 to 6 large potatoes
4 to 6 diced carrots
1 large onion
1 can large stewed tomatoes
1/4 to 1/2 c. beef soup base
1 tsp. basil
2 bay leaves
1/2 bag frozen green beans
Preparation

Fry hamburger.
Drain.
Salt to taste, if desired.
Add water, tomatoes, bay leaves, basil and soup base.
Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add vegetables except green beans.
Cook until just tender.
Add green beans about last 20 minutes of cooking time. Serve.
