Mushroom Brown Rice Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 box brown rice (about 2 c.)
    2/3 c. butter
    1 1/3 c. onion, chopped
    1 1/3 c. celery, sliced
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
    5 c. whole bran cereal
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    In large saucepot, bring water and 1 teaspoon salt to boiling. Gradually stir in rice.
    Cover; cook on low heat for 45 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
    In large skillet, melt butter.
    Add onion, celery and mushrooms; saute until soft.
    Stir in 2 teaspoons salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
    Add to cooked brown rice.
    Add whole bran cereal.
    Sprinkle with milk; toss until moistened.
    Stuff lightly into turkey.
    Makes enough for 10 to 12-pound turkey.
